I know what it says I’m telling you from real world experience. Now I have had Alexa respond to hey google and google not. And it not only lit up but answered what I asked it to do in smartthings. Sometimes it responds quick others it does not but it sure as hell does 3 times when the stupid commercial comes on for GH.

Controlling SmartThings with Google Home
Much as I enjoy technology sometimes, I’m really starting to regret this smarthome crap. This may not help you at all but it’s worth taking couple minutes and checking. This may be way off but I seem to recall someone mentioning that they had to log into their actual Google account and delete Smartthings from there and then they could get it to relink. Followed those instructions up to step 5. I get the error previously mentioned.

Select the device you want to assign to a room. Connected devices will be listed down the page. I am connected with my Samsung account in both apps and I have already tried unlinking and relinking. Yup, but I'm thinking u/PhilStation is correct and smart things won't share door locks to Google. Google Assistant
If I say “Turn on the floor light”, I get an error. I added Smartthings in the GH app. Within the app, I logged into SmartT, chose hub, then put check marks next to every device and hit ok. GH shows all of the devices, but still doesn’t work.
